Florest Films is an brazilian production company that works with projects focused on natural contexts across LATAM and Europe.
Stakeholders defined an existentialist briefing suggesting that each creation is a star, and we wanted to represent that in the simplest way possible. “Asterisk” comes from the Greek word for “star,” so I decided to reappropriate a globally recognized symbol with originality.
The brand’s isotype is an inverted asterisk, forming a trunk-like base that transforms the symbol into a simplified tree, supporting both Florest' naming and the cosmic narrative of stars.
This typographic identity draws from the perfectionist principles of Swiss Design, contrasted with imperfect illustrations and scribbles that create a connection between organic creations of nature and the film scripts developed by our professionals.
